My new book Melody and the Island of Music is about a little girl that goes on a giant adventure on an island where everything, the trees, the building and yes even the people are made of music. Out in The Netherlands May 17th.

This picturebook was written and illustrated by Enzo and published by Leopold in The Netherlands. The picturebook was created to accompany an exhibition in the Kunstmuseum The Hague about the life of fashion designer Paul Poiret. The illustrations were selected by the Society of Illustrators NY and received a silver medal from 3x3.

Illustrations for ‘Anne, the horse and the river’. A Dutch children’s book by author Wouter Klootwijk about a courageous little girl in a folkloric village. This book was awarded with a ‘flying colours’ award in The Netherlands, it was also selected as one of the ‘Best designed books of 2017’ and exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and received a merit award from 3x3, as well as being featured in the Society of Illustrators’ annual show.

Children’s picture book about climate-change. The book’s main character is a little tree that decides to follow the geese during their flight north. Upon his arrival he discovers a dangerous truth and decides he needs to inform the other trees…

This book was inspired by my travels as a field assistant in the Arctic for biologist Maarten Loonen. These travels were supported by grants from the Fiep Westendorp Foundation and the Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.

Illustrations for children’s book ‘naar de overkant’ for publisher Leopold.

Collection of designs for silk scarf brand Monsieur Fox based in Dubai. The scarves were all based on northern African and Arabic themes such as the leopard, Alhambra and nomad caravans.
